I have been an observer, just watching Anonymous protest against the Church of Scientology for the past two years and I find these protests fascinating.
I want to say a little something to the celebrities of Scientology and that is... Your silence has not gone unnoticed. You need to start speaking up, before people start thinking that your silence equals compliance. Now, I have taken it upon myself to put together a little list of the crimes of Scientology that I have witnessed through videos, internet, TV, news, and other various media sources and here is what I've observed: physical abuse, mental and emotional abuse, extortion, breaking up families, forced abortions, child labor, forced slave labor, stalking, suppression of free speech, medical negligence and malpractice, espionage, human rights violations, fraud, harassment, frivolous lawsuits, cause of suicide, blackmail, bull-baiting, tampering with evidence, general lack of respect for fellow human beings, human trafficking, murder, protecting rapists and child abusers, and outright lies in the media!
Tommy Davis, when I see you on TV or on the net... any words that come out of your mouth, I wonder if you are even capable of telling the truth. You're not fooling anyone. This is coming from someone who is just observing, I'm not a member of anonymous, I don't wear a mask, and I'm not saying this to be critical, even though it may sound that way.
I want everyone to be happy, I want everyone to acknowledge each other as human beings, which we all are! We were all created the same way, we all came from our mother, and we need to start being nicer to each other.
Some might say that these sufferings are the result of someones karma or past lives or something, and that may be true. But if it's someones karma to suffer, isn't it our karma to help them? I mean, if you see someone fall into a hole are you just going to walk past him and say, Oh it's his karma. No! You're going to help them out of the hole! ( as I'm sure you'd want them to do for you)
As Celebrities of Scientology, you are in such a great position to help those that are suffering in Scientology... and they really are suffering! I understand that you are kept rather isolated from these incidences, but this has been going on for over 2 years! It's been getting bigger and bigger! I find it hard to believe that you're so completely isolated that you haven't been exposed to it for even a moment and stopped to wonder why it is happening and what you can do about it... before it ruins you.
I don't see how the authorities, or any authority, can put an "end" to the church and it's abuses. Before I elaborate on that statement let me say that as far as Anonymous goes, I don't see them as a terrorist/hate group at all. Terrorists use fear to induce panic and manipulate the masses, and I don't see Anonymous doing that at all. I see Anonymous spreading awareness, educating the public regarding Scientology's fraud and abuse and giving ex-Scientologists the courage to speak out and tell their story and helping those on the inside free themselves from an oppressive situation. And they do this all non-violently! Which is why this is all happening so quickly. History has shown that a non-violent approach can get things accomplished exponentially faster than any violent conflict.
It's really inspiring to see how things are unfolding the way they are, because I see Scientology as a kind of reflective microcosm of the macrocosm. Let me explain; There is so much corruption and lies within our global system that is being exposed more and more everyday. Within our political system, judicial system, corporate system, financial system, medical and pharmaceutical system, educational system, religious system, the fraud and abuse is getting harder to deny. All over the world people are becoming aware and are starting to take a stand. It's all about people finally waking up!
You can shake someone who is asleep just once and they will wake up, without a problem. But if you shake someone who is pretending to be asleep, they won't budge, even if you shake them a thousand times. Celebrities of Scientology, people are going to start thinking that you're pretending to be asleep! WAKE UP! Please! Open your eyes and see what is going on right under your nose! There are people suffering! A lot of people suffering!
Things are pretty crazy on planet Earth, I agree with you. But from what I can see, things are also pretty crazy in the Church of Scientology!
I say this all with Love and Compassion. If I am going to be "fair game" (stalked or harassed like other critics of Scientology) for what I'm saying, then so be it, because I see that kind of behavior as exacerbating the downfall of Scientology*. I hope there is at least one celebrity scientologist out there that will read this message and wake up to what's happening in their "church" and to the people in it and do something to help.
If Scientology is going to have any kind of future, things are really going to have to change. I mean, If I were a devout Catholic and I found out that my child was abused by a priest, I would speak out and raise HELL! But I could still be Catholic, because those disgusting abuses have nothing to do with the spiritual practices of my religion. Are the list of abuses that I made earlier a part of the "spiritual" practices of Scientology? One would wonder... I don't see the Church of Scientology taking a stand and speaking out against these abuses. They just come back with character assassinations of those that speak out. "You don't know their crimes","They're lying!", "They're on psych drugs", "yadda yadda yadda", You know what, don't insult my intelligence! We're not idiots out here! We see what's going on; and YOU gotta see what's going on!
